Your ONLY Limit Is YOU!
Nourishing our bodies with the right nutrients is essential for overall health and well-being. The blood-based nutrition plan is a 6 weeks plan that revolves around tailoring our diets to support our specific blood types. By understanding the unique nutritional needs of our blood types, we can create a meal plan that promotes optimal health and vitality.
Blood type is a genetic factor that plays many roles in your body which includes a chemical reaction that occurs between your blood and the foods you eat. This reaction is part of your genetic inheritance.
Lectins are a kind of protein that can bind to sugar. They are sometimes referred to as anti-nutrients since they can reduce the body’s ability to absorb nutrients. When you eat a food containing protein lectins that are incompatible with your blood type antigen, the lectins target an organ or bodily system (kidneys, liver, gut, stomach, etc.) and can begin to interact with the tissues in that area. So to this point, it is important to implement a dietary plan that is best suited for your generic blood makeup, ie blood type.
Another reason knowing your blood type matters, it can help you take better care of your health. Your blood type can make you more prone to certain health issues. For instance, studies have shown that people with type AB and B blood have a higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer. Type O people have a higher risk of heart disease. Knowing your blood type and the health risks associated with it can help you and your healthcare provider create a preventive care plan tailored to those specific needs.
