A native of Iowa City, Jeff Colglazier, attended the University of Illinois with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and an athlete on the wrestling team and member of the Fighting Illini cheerleading squad. He received, an MBA from DePaul University in Information Systems. In 1982 Jeff relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue his IT career and later met his lovely wife Martha “Marti” now wife of 35 years. After working for 25 years in the IT world Jeff retired at age 53 and now enjoys swimming and teaching Tai Chi class at Dawn Wells Fitness.
Jeff’s community service efforts include being a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta. Jeff is also a Lions Club member and officially the President of the Oakhill Lions Club, a branch club of the Conyers Lions Club Chapter, which fully supports Angel Eyes as class guides and fundraising. Jeff also sits on the Board of Directors for Angel Eyes Fitness and Nutrition, Inc a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
Jeff’s comments: “I have always believed in staying fit and we have been very blessed and we want to give back to our community and to those who are trying to improve their lives. I am excited about the possibilities ahead for Dawn Wells Fitness and want to assist Dawn in helping even more people in the future.”
